**The Orange Movement (tOM) Bootcamp Pre-Conference Event – April 7/8

Arrive on the OKWU campus the evening of April 7th and be ready to join with hundreds of others who are fighting to stop modern day slavery. Bring yourself, your friends, your youth group to the Conference a day early and make an immediate difference for others. The Orange Movement is a grassroots effort to bring back the voice of the founders of the Wesleyan Church who led the way in crying out for the stop of slavery in our country. We are carrying that fight forward today to make the voice of “the Church” louder and more active in stopping the horror of human trafficking across the globe.

The Friday tOM Bootcamp will provide you and your youth group the direction, resources and ideas for participating with and starting your own Orange Movement at home. This day will be a day of interactive learning and hands on work to prepare students for a life of seeking to help others at home. We will provide you and your youth pastors with materials to take home that will address the issues specifically in your own hometown and state, and offer avenues for challenging your friends, your youth group and your church to sit up and take notice, and ultimately to speak out and do something about human trafficking and the many social issues that surround this problem.

LODGING/TRAVEL INFO

The first 150 Conference Senior HIgh attendees will be housed on campus and will be invited to a special late night campus college event and giveaways on Friday night of the Conference. Junior High and additional students will be housed in lodging with pastors/sponsors.

For attendees who provide us with flight information, we can arrange transportation to and from Tulsa International Airport.
